Payments & commissions

Every payment goes straight to your agency's own Stripe account

Majord never holds your money, not even for a second. Guests pay in the app, your agency's own Stripe account is paid directly, and Majord's commission is deducted automatically in the same transaction.

Step 1

Connect your own Stripe account

During setup, your agency connects its own Stripe account to Majord (Stripe Connect). It takes a few minutes and it is your account, in your agency's name, not Majord's.

Step 2

Guest pays in the app

The guest books and pays for a service (private chef, transfer, boat...) directly inside the app, by card, through Stripe's secure checkout.

Step 3

Stripe pays you directly, automatically

Stripe splits the payment the instant it is made: Majord's 10% commission is routed to Majord, and the rest goes straight to your agency's own Stripe balance.

The split

Where a 500 € booking goes

One transaction, split the instant it is made. Nothing is invoiced afterwards, and nothing sits in a Majord account on the way.

Billed by Stripe directly to your agency, which is the merchant of record. Majord never touches it.

Figures shown for a card issued in the European Economic Area, at Stripe’s published standard rate of 1.5% + 0.25 €. Cards issued outside the EEA are charged 3.15% + 0.25 € (plus 2% if a currency conversion is involved), which on this example would leave 434.00 €, or 86.8%. Rates vary by country and card type: see Stripe’s pricing page for the current schedule.

Your money, your rules

You control your own payouts

Because funds land directly in your agency's own Stripe account, you decide how and when you get paid. From your own Stripe dashboard you can set your payout schedule to daily, weekly, monthly, or any custom calendar Stripe offers. Majord has no visibility into your payout settings and no ability to change them: this is entirely between your agency and Stripe.

The model

The app is free. Majord is paid only on transactions.

No subscription, no setup fee, no hidden cost. Majord only makes money when your agency does, on each payment made in the app.

How it works technically

Stripe pays each agency directly

Majord runs on Stripe Connect. Each agency gets its own Stripe account, connected to Majord. When a guest pays, the charge is created directly on the agency's Stripe account: the agency is the merchant of record, so it is the agency that is billed Stripe's standard processing fees and its own bank transfer fees, exactly like any Stripe account. Majord's 10% commission is deducted automatically at the moment of payment and routed directly to Majord's own Stripe balance, without ever passing through the agency's account.

Majord then withdraws its own accumulated commissions to its bank account on its own schedule, weekly or monthly. Each agency, separately, receives its own payout from Stripe on the schedule it sets in its own Stripe account, like any Stripe user.

An agency can open a Stripe account this way in 48 countries, including the US, most of Europe, Thailand and the UAE. In a country outside this list, an agency cannot hold a Stripe account directly; Majord is studying an alternative transfer method for these cases, likely with its own fees and a minimum amount before transfer, to avoid fees eating into a small payment. Details will be published once confirmed.
